Had the BEST day with Elvis touring through Kigali. Made the most of every stop (of which there were many all over the city), so informative, fantastic lunch recommendation and really knowledgeable about all the birds in the eco park! The day flew by and really feel like a had a good sense of Kigali at the end - sad that I only booked this for my last day here.
This was one of the most incredible experiences of my entire life. From start to finish, it was an amazing day. My driver contacted me the day before and picked me up promptly at 4:30am. Mico was the best tour guide I've had, and I highly recommend him for a safe, informative, and enjoyable excursion. After driving for 2.5 hours, we arrived at the visitor's centre where you receive complementary coffee and the trek briefing. After, you drive to the starting point of the hike. Porters are available to carry your bags, and my guide Felicien was knowledgable and overall great company. The trek itself is beautiful. Good hiking boots and pants are huge for the hike, and the gorilla trackers are really amazing in the way they are able to monitor and protect the gorilla families. I'm left speechless at the enormous privilege it is to be among mountain gorillas in their home. This is a true once in a lifetime opportunity. I'm grateful to Vista Safaris for an unforgettable experience!
Did the 1 day Lake Kivu Trip including the coffee farm experience, boat ride, swimming, and a nice hike to the top of Napoleon Island. It was a fun time and a good price. Each event was well planned and the timing was perfect so the whole trip went smoothly. The food along the way was delicious. Justin the guide was a wealth of knowledge and entertaining to chat with. Highly recommend Vista Safaris and Justin as guide!
Amazing experience, well organised and professional. Hike was tougher than expected but then again, summit a volcano isn’t supposed to be easy.
We did the safari with friends and the experience with Vista Safari was incredible. Everything was perfect, from the punctuality when picking us up at our apartment, the impeccable vehicle and the best thing was our guide Elvis. A super warm, helpful person who provided us with information at all times. We hired the same through Ishimwe, and everything was 10. We were also able to see 4 of the 5 big five :).
We booked a Safari tour to Akagera National Park and everything went very smooth. Arnaud, our driver, was very punctual and gave us a lot of insights about Rwanda throughout the day. He was a fun and enjoyable company. Bernard, the trip organizer, was fast in replying to our queries and made sure that our trip was well prepared.
